My Preaching Schedule

Saturday, March 1, at 9 am, I’m teaching leadership at Suburban Baptist Church in New Orleans.

Sunday, March 2, at 11 am, preaching for “Home Missions Sunday” at Bethel Baptist Church on Prine Road in Citronelle, Alabama.

Sunday night, March 23 at 6 pm, preaching at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Gordo, Alabama.

Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday mornings (March 24-26) speaking at the Senior Adult Revival for the Baptists of Pickens County, Alabama. (Did not make a note of the name of the church where we’ll be meeting. My host is Dr. Tommy Winders of Carrollton FBC.)

April 4-5, attending the annual meeting of the WMU (our women’s ministry) at FBC Baton Rouge.

April 11-12, attending the “Mighty Men of God Conference” at Jefferson Baptist Church, Baton Rouge.

April 18-19, attending the writers conference at the Baptist Message, Alexandria.

April 20, morning worship service, preaching on “Missions” at Calvary Baptist Church, New Orleans.

April 28, Monday, at 7 pm, the Spring meeting of the Baptist Association of Greater New Orleans, at FBC LaPlace. Our Strategy Study Team will present their recommendations to the churches that night.

And finally….(for a while, at least)…

Saturday, May 3, my high school graduation class is celebrating its 50th anniversary at the bank in Double Springs, Alabama. I can’t wait. We’re like a big family of brothers and sisters.

I will greatly appreciate your remembering me in prayer for these various responsibilities–for strength, for the Lord’s leadership on what to share, for Holy Spirit power, for people to come to Christ.

  1. My gosh, you as busy as I am. The thing that caught my eye is the last item. You got me by a couple of years but you’re the same age as my sister. I am the seventh generation of my family to live in the town of Yorktown, Indiana. It seems like a few weeks ago my Dad went to his 50th reunion. I told him he was older than dirt. Guess who’s in heaven probably kicking some holy dirt my way. God bless!
